• Classification by Material:

• Natural rubber sheet: Excellent elasticity and low-temperature resistance (remains flexible at -50°C), but poor weather resistance. Suitable for shock absorption and cushioning.

• Synthetic rubber sheet:

▪ Nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR): Excellent oil resistance, used for fuel tank seals and oil pipe gaskets.

▪ Chloroprene rubber (CR): Weather-resistant, ozone-resistant, and flame-retardant, commonly used for outdoor sealing and building waterproofing.

▪ Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM): Excellent weather resistance, stable performance within a temperature range of -60°C to 150°C, and widely used in door and window seals.

• Classification by Function:

• Ordinary rubber sheet: Used for general industrial sealing and cushioning.

Specialty rubber sheet: Features special properties such as antistatic, acid and alkali resistance, insulation, and flame retardancy.

Maintenance Specifications

• Daily Inspection: Inspect the rubber sheet monthly. Replace any cracks, aging, or deformation.

• Environmental Protection: Avoid long-term exposure to strong acids, alkalis, and UV rays. Use high-temperature-resistant rubber for high-temperature applications and low-temperature-resistant rubber for low-temperature applications.

• Cleaning and Maintenance: Use a neutral detergent to remove surface stains. Avoid using solvents such as gasoline and acetone to prevent swelling and aging of the rubber.
