Rubber & Plastic Flooring are elastic polymer coils made from a blend of rubber and plastic, enhanced with functional additives such as foaming agents, flame retardants, and anti-aging agents, using a specialized process. Combining the flexibility of rubber with the processing properties of plastic, they offer comprehensive properties such as thermal insulation, vibration and noise reduction, fire resistance, and waterproofing. They are widely used in building insulation, pipeline insulation, industrial vibration reduction, and soundproofing.

Structural Characteristics
• Closed-cell foam structure: Internal cells are individually enclosed, with a porosity of ≥95%, effectively blocking heat conduction and water vapor penetration.
• Composite surface layer: Some products are coated with aluminum foil (for enhanced reflective insulation), fiber cloth (for increased tear resistance), or a self-adhesive layer (for simplified installation).

Raw Material Pretreatment

1. Mixing and blending: Rubber, plastic, and flame retardant are mixed according to the formula in an internal mixer and mixed at 150-180°C for 20-30 minutes to form a uniform blend.

2. Granulation: Granulation is performed through an extruder to produce pellets suitable for subsequent processing.

3.2 Foam Molding

• Extrusion Foaming: The pellets are heated to 180-220°C in a twin-screw extruder, injected with a foaming agent, and extruded through a mold, rapidly foaming and forming at atmospheric pressure.

• Compression Foaming: The rubber mix is placed into a mold and foamed and formed under high temperature and pressure, suitable for customized products.

Post-Processing

1. Cooling and Forming: Cooling to room temperature via air or water cooling systems to ensure dimensional stability.

2. Surface Treatment: Lamination with aluminum foil, fiber cloth, or coating with a self-adhesive layer is performed, and the pellets are slit into standard sizes (width 1-1.5m, length 10-50m).

3. Performance Testing: Core indicators such as thermal conductivity, flame retardancy, and water absorption are fully tested, with a defect rate of less than 1%.
